Berklee is considered one of the best contemporary music schools in the world. Some of the Filipino musicians who've graduated there are Tots Tolentino, Malek Lopez of Drip/RubberInc and Gerard Salonga. In fact, Jorel Corpuz of KJWAN is studying there right now and trying to bring the Berklee auditions to Manila (berkleeinmanila.com). I believe that there are enough fellow Filipinos in the Philippines and around the world who can believe with me for this dream. I only need 1,000 TRUE fans to donate 500 pesos each so I can go to Berklee by end of June 2009. Even if you can't donate 10 USD - maybe you can donate 1 USD and convince 9 of your other friends to do the same. Hey, it's not everyday that you get to tell your friends (and maybe your grandchildren one day) that you sent a fellow Filipino to Berklee :) .
